USS Dominik @ Edgware Road (Circle ,District and Hammersmith)

I visited this station during my reconnaissance mission to explore the east part of London. My route from home to home with stops at Marylebone, Edgware Road, West Ham, East Ham, Hornchurch, Upminster Bridge, Upminster, Romford, Forest Gate, Stratford, Epping and Theydon Bois

You can find rare pink departure board.

Old telephone station (for millennials … it is like a pre-paid portable landline) without phones.

A very cute decoration around staff booth.

This is a memorial of people who lost they life during London bombings o 07.07’2005.

Edgware Road area is full of interesting of buildings and arts on them.

I haven’t explore any coffee and restaurants in this area.

Is any compelling places to see nearby?

You can walk to Paddington basin and from there you can walk to Little Venice and Regent’s Canal.

Trivia:

  • It has Out of station interchanges station with London Marylebone
  • There are 2 Edgware Road tube station near to each other. If you need change between Circle/District/Hammersmith and Baker Street. Don’t do it at this station.
  • It is highest station and platform level on the Circle line.
